Authenticated Tools (free account)

• Create AI Itinerary — Describe your ideal trip and get a complete day-by-day plan with activities, restaurants, and hotels — powered by Aitinery’s AI travel agents.
• List My Itineraries — See all your saved trips in one place.
• View My Itinerary — Open the details of a specific trip: daily plans, saved spots, and notes.
• Upcoming Trips — Check your next trips with a countdown so you always know what’s coming up.
• Copy Itinerary — Found a community itinerary you love? Copy it to your account and customize it however you want.

Getting Started

1. Open Claude Desktop or claude.ai.
2. Connect the Aitinery connector from the MCP directory.
3. Start with something like: “Find me itineraries for the Amalfi Coast.”

Public tools work right away — no login needed. When you use an authenticated tool for the first time, Claude will prompt you to sign in to your Aitinery account.

Authentication

Aitinery uses OAuth 2.0 via Clerk to securely connect your account. The first time you use an authenticated tool, Claude will ask you to log in — it only takes a few seconds.

Your session stays active so you won’t need to re-authenticate during the conversation.

Privacy

Your data stays yours. Here’s how we handle it:

• We only access data you explicitly request through the connector.
• No personal data is stored beyond your active session.
• All communication is encrypted via HTTPS.

Troubleshooting

“Session expired” error — Your authentication session has timed out. Simply reconnect the Aitinery connector from the MCP directory to start a new session.

“Itinerary still generating” — AI itineraries take 30–90 seconds to generate. Claude will share a direct link to your itinerary on Aitinery so you can follow the progress there.

No results found — Try a broader destination name. For example, use “Sicily” instead of a specific small town, or “Amalfi Coast” instead of a single village.
